Having trouble with some black screens when starting and even playing games

I've had my Wii modded for a few years now and it seems that all of a sudden a few games just stopped working. I used to play Spectrobes: Origins but then all of a sudden it just starting going to a black screen when I loaded it. The same thing started to happen to The Conduit. I've done a lot of searching online and I've found some questions regarding those games, but haven't found answers that have helped me fix. Also, I've played through New Super Mario Bros all the way through, but now when I play and beat World 4 Airship, the screen just goes black. So it's like the game loads and works, but after that level it just gives out. I've tried loading updated IOS, I've used Config USB Loader/Loader GX/WiiFlow/NewGamma and it's consistent. I'm pretty much out of ideas. I even spent a whole day ripping games from my WBFS drive, reformatting to FAT32 and trying that with no luck. I'm pretty sure I'm on just about the latest IOS versions, loader updates, and file format. Help!

I did the "sofmod any wii" guide by mauifrog (the last one, I did it yesterday) and now I want to do the "wiiflow nand emulation guide" by Pob3008. It ask to instal d2x cIOS v7 (but the lastest version is v8, certainly it's better to have the last one). I wanted to know if I needed to install it or if I can go with the "nand emulation guide" without installing it. Thanks.

PS: my syscheck is in french because my wii is set in french.

    Hi,

I'm having problems getting dios mios to run my gamecube backups from cfg usb, and some of my wii games freeze while playing from usb (cfg), while others get stuck on the initial loading screen (MW3). I followed the dios mios guide on the site to a tee and whenever I've tried loading a game it "hangs" at the dios mios screen. I've tried two games so far, ssb melee and wind waker. All the settings that were stated in the guide are correct. I overwrote a previous soft mod with maui's from this site. I was thinking it had something to do with it. Could someone look at my system check and if possible show me how to change the ios's/cios's?

    Here's my system check :

    Thanks so much.

    Your System Check is fine.
For MW3 make sure you set it to use Cios250 [57] in CFG Loader.

As for the GC Games loading through Dios Mios It could be your HDD not being Compatible.(I have this Problem)

Is it possible for it not to be compatible when it's compatible with my wii games? Also how do i change that option in cfg for MW3?

yes, it is possible as this has happened to me. Only one of the three HDD's I have work with wii and GC games.
The other two only work with the wii games.

with Cfg , go to the game and select, now look on the side you should see the option's button.

Select option's and go to Ios and change it to 250. Now look to the bottom and you should see the save button, save it and try the game.
