There, that seems much better. Does it look like I'm missing anything now? I downgraded to system menu 4.1 since 4.2 and 4.3 didn't offer anything new. At the end of my report is "BC v6". What is this? It was installed before I updated today. Does that have something to do with the Dios Mios?

@organized chaos - Looks good. You should be good to go. BC=Backwards Compatibility, in this case w/ Gamecube Has to do with gamecube support.

Dios Mios Lite + configurable mod + big ol sd card, you're good to go.

Hey guys/gals, V1 console would like to stop my system from locking up if possible, please advise. I last worked on this in 09 and it will load wads and other things no problem but randomly gives a black DOS looking Error report with what looks to be memory addresses.

    Spoiler

Forgive my spoiler if it didn't work.

    Thanks.

@shltfoot - Wow, thats an old softmod. The anywii guide in my sig will sort you out. Freezing sometimes indicates power management on the drive tho, if your drive has that you should disable it.

A few homebrew apps seem to be having trouble reading my FAT32 SDHC card when it worked fine before. Configurable USB Loader cannot save cover art to it (says sd:/ is not accessible) and now FTPii is unable to mount the SD card (just says Mounting Front SD...failed). I don't see anything different from updating that would cause my SD card to start malfunctioning. Do you think my card might just be dying?

I have 2 Wii's, one with a Wiikey 2 and one with a Drivekey. The one with the Drivekey was having problems loading certain backed up discs (such as NSMB) that play fine on the Wiikey 2. I couldn't figure out why (any thoughts on that one appreciated) and thought I would try to softmod it, and followed the guide. Everything seemed to work correctly. I tried loading a backup through Neogamma (both from the channel, and through homebrew). No matter what backup I put in (even ones that play through the official Wii disc channel) it resets the drive, says no patch found, and gives me a 'DVD Err(00000000), Read TOC' error. It's a 2007 drive. Posting my syscheck below and thanks for any help. (Note: This may sound stupid, but the guide said to remove all USB devices. I didn't notice until I was done that my Rock Band guitar adapter was plugged in. Not sure if that could have caused any issues)

Can't Load Games with Configurable USB Loader

I recently modified my wii but it doesn't want to recognize my hard drive. I have tried the supported drives on the list and more than one. Even tried USB Memory stick but no luck. This same hard drive works on my other wii. I have attached the syscheck file. Don't see why it doesn't see it while on the same conditions the other wii works fine with this hard drive. I have also tried wiiflow, neogama, usb loader gx and they don't see hard drive either or any of hte other 3 drives I tried. Any help is appreciated as I'm out of bullets

Need help upgrading 3.5U to 4.3U and fix bug - Settings Menu not showing up.

    Hi,

Thanks for this wonderful Wii forum.

I have a Wii donated to me from my Cousin. I have attached the SysCheck file here below.

    Spoiler

    Problems and Needs:
    1. I am unable to open Wii Options --> Wii Settings.
Wii Settings page is blank with just three black Dots at the top-left side.

    2. Need to connect to WiFi or LAN and then the Internet

    3. Need to update to latest Menu (4.3?)

    4. Wanna Play movies and games from HDD/USB

    5. Wanna play DVD Movies (Read somewhere that its possible)

What should i do now to accomplish the above? I saw some warnings about not updating KOR Wii s. Its applicable for me as well?

Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks.

Tried Updating via the "Softmod any Wii" No luck. The IOS installs.
The Hackmii Installer Hangs at Loading App. I waited for an hour but no luck. I restarted the Console.

    Here is the genereated syscheck

Please post your system check as a spoiler not a attachment so everybody can read it.

Have you tried switching USB ports on your wii?

Sent from my iPhone using WiiHacks, This should explain any typos.

What format are your drives in? Your cIOS are outdated, which could be causing this problem if your drives are fat32. I suggest following the d2x guide in my sig and installing the recommended configuration. Also make sure your loaders are up to date.

Have you tried using a different sd card? Sandisk 2gig SD are the best.
