Yeah, thats an old softmod. You can update it using the any wii guide. Bootmii is installed as IOS (254). If you cant find your nand backup, its as good as not having it. Priiloader can make savegames copiable, and there is a savegame manager as well (homebrew). If you follow the guide, it won't prompt you to update anymore.

Hi I used the <EXTERNAL LINK REMOVED>, I have no problems (that I know of), just wanted someone to check if I'm all good:

    Spoiler

Not sure if you can tell just by looking, but I installed waninkoko's cIOS, Hermes cIOS and cMIOS (exactly as it shows you on the <EXTERNAL LINK REMOVED> - it actually recommends you to install both), however what they don't mention is d2x cIOS, which I've just found out about. I've made a post in that thread about whether or not I can also install that (since it seems to improve compatibility even further), but wonder if someone here can also confirm I can install d2x without screwing up my Wii from too many cIOS's, and also just check to see if everything checks out. Thanks for your time.

EDIT: Also, I'm planning to run backups from a USB (of games I already own), however I've read that using backups off a USB rather than a disc, it doesn't matter what region they are. I'm planning to use NTSC-U version (since they are slightly smaller), can anyone confirm if its safe (for both Wii and GCN backups)?

If you want to use someone else's guide, you'd do well to ask them for support. The staff h ere gets a little testy here when you post links to external guides.

Looking for help with error 001. I decided reading the error guide that a might need to update certain cIOS, which I did, with no solution. The game installed from disc causing the error is "Family Game Night 3". Here the system check. I thot about just using ModMii to fix everything.

Hmmm... You seem to have all the cIOS you need, but cant really tell because of the version of syscheck you are using. Try using the latest version in the syscheck guide below in my sig. I also see some IOS that are outdated which could cause that error. I would recommend installing the IOS update pack in the Softmod ANY Wii guide.

    cjizzle,

I followed the guide and here is my new syscheck result:

    Spoiler

    still some issues with WiiFitPlus...
    - disc not playing from disc channel ("can not be read") - is it as expected?
    - disc can be played by means of Neogamma but everything is in RED gamma
    and I've noticed that
    - when system menu loaded from priiloader then it also is in RED gamma

    Thanks you for your support!

Ok. I think I got everything updated correctly. A couple of other notables: WiiFlow and Cfg USB Loader both error as soon as I try to install the game. USB Loader GX seems like it is installing the game, but the game errors when you try to play it from USB. Game disc is playable if mounted. It only shows up in the GX list, not the other two. This is the only game I have had issues with installing. Here's the redo of the syscheck.

RED gamma? Im assuming you mean your screen is red? Not sure what that is all about. Can you clarify, or post a screen shot of what you are talking about?

Did you enable region free games in priiloader?

Sounds like a drive compatibility issue...maybe... I have seen a few reports of game playing issues when using d2x v8 with some HDD's. Maybe try rolling back to d2x v7 and see where that gets you. What kind of condition is the disc in? Scratched a little? Perfect? Trying to narrow it down a little, but this seems to be a unique problem.

Didn't make any difference. The disc does have a couple of significant marks on it. I bet when I exchange it I'll find it was the disc all along. Thanks for getting me updated anyway. I'll just edit this post when I get results from the replacement.

My post keeps getting buried unintentionally in here but in addition to previous stated problems, a lot of my channels stall when i exit them. like wiiflow, snes9xgx and wii64 channel. That is probably more a faulty channel, but who knows.
