    Hi All,

I softmodded my wii a long time ago, but now I've followed the mauifrog instructions to update my Wii (from the with homebrew channel section).

Any game I play now randomly freezes the wii at some point. I've tried using several cIOSs to see if that fixes it but so far, nothing. Could someone please check to make sure my Wii is good to go and maybe suggest something about the freezing? Thanks.

    Spoiler

God I hope I did that right...

*Edit* Let me be more specific: My Wii freezes up sometimes at the same point of a game, sometimes not. There doesn't seem to be any pattern of when it will freeze and when it won't. Sometimes it loads just past the put on a strap warning, sometimes it's 30 minutes into a game. I then have to push and hold the power button and turn it off.

I use a WD 2500XMS external HDD which doesn't seem to have an spin down issues. I have tried both ntfs and wbfs.

Hi "lovemywiinow" I used syscheck for mine. DopMii doesn't have as nice of report as does syscheck has.

    http://www.wiihacks.com/other-faq-gu...tem-check.html

^^^There is the Link to find "syscheck" if you want to try it that way.^^^

Now pay attention to which link you download it from. Click the spoiler that has "syscheck" go all the way down to the bottom, to "Red Ghost'" post and the link for that one is highlighted in blue and has the text "wii-homebrew", click on it.

    It's v2.1.0 b15

Oh and make sure you place the syscheck in the Apps folder of your SD or USB dont paste the apps folder or you could overwrite everything in it.

Just follow the guide at the link I mentioned above (It is also the link in Playerkp420's Signature).

    Hello everyone,

Since im very new at this, i followed mauifrog guide to softmod my wii some months ago and it was working fine with a FAT32 HDD. Since i got now a bigger HDD USB 3.0, i couldnt boot up the Configurable USB Loader from that HDD, then i decided to change the partition to NTFS, and boot up the USB Loader from a 2GB SD. I suppose i had to change the boot.dol to the 222 version, to boot up, i think its what every guide says. I couldnt also put the covers reading from the NTFS partition, i had to put it on the SD. But the big problem now its when i launch the games, it always says : ERROR : MEMORY OVERLAP! with some numbers after it. It does this 4 times, and then the game starts with no problems at all. I dont know if i did everthing fine with all this changes to a NTFS partition. Can anyone help me out ?

yes it goes on black screen

I don't understand really I am quite unfamiliar with all this... 'unless utherwise told to do differently' does it mean that if I unstub 249 (which i suppose I have to follow the link you very kindly provvided cios 249(56) to do so) some games my not work and will have to put the 349 to its original configuration....i know this is for you just basic stuff but for me it is kinda rocket science

    Please use the EDIT Function.

    Hi everyone,
I have tried using wiiflow and configurable USB loader to load backups from a hard drive. I am using Kirby's Return to Dreamland to use as a test and I am able to reach the title screen, where it says to press 2. After I press 2, the screen goes white and the wii crashes. Is my syscheck fine?
