If I try to load it through Backup Disc Channel it gives me Error 1167, which suggests my Wii can't read dual layer. System check suggests my IOS249 is not the rev 14 that would give that as a fault.
I originally modded about 2 years ago, but have followed the 'softmod any wii' guide to make sure everything is up to date. XC isn't in the list of games with known issues, the game works on a non-modded Wii.
    I've generated the system check:

    Thanks in advance

Do any other original discs cause the same error? If so, your drive probably just needs cleaned.

Thats an older version of syscheck that you are using. We cant see what bases are used for your cIOS among other things. Get the newest version of syscheck and try again.

My Wii had been running perfectly fine for the last year or more. Somewhere along the way I must have updated or tweaked something as now a number of games I had been running from a USB drive have suddenly stopped working (using both NeoGamma and USB Loader GX). I've been searching through forums and updating and reinstalling my IOS files but no luck. Hoping someone can see something I've missed. Thanks in advance!
Use the d2x installer to put d2x v6 into slot 249 with a base of 56.

Hi guys, i rented a game for my son and he updated the console's OS. USB loader GX stopped working got this error msg: "IOS 222=0 and IOS 249=0. Go figure out how to get some IOS action going and come back later"

I read the forums and figured out I hand to redo the soft mod which I did following this guide: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html

All went well but Loader has same problem. I posted my WII's system, can anybody help ? Could my OS now be unmoddable ?

    Thanks !!

Chances are you are running an older version of GX. Follow the Updating GX guide in my sig.

WOOHOO !! You were right, I was running 1.0, followed the instructions on your sig and upgraded, all is well now and this version also fixed 2 games that didn't work. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

The last step where I had to install a WAD with MMM failed though, I think that this is to create a channel right ? Right now I am loading through HBC. Do you know why this step would fail ? I get a -2011 error and a "Did not complete" message.

    Anyways thank's a lot,

    Moe

Try downloading the wad again and set MMM to load with 236.

Which COD are you talking about? If it's Black Ops then you need to load it with 250. If Goldeneye is giving you issues try using 222 or 223. Regardless, make sure in the global settings of GX the IOS is set to 249. (The problematic games set the IOS in the individual game settings)

Black Ops is on 250, and WAW is on 249 the default. Both are having issues with sound. Voices and dialog are not coming thru properly. Then when I try to go back to the menu it freezes. I have tried 222 and 223 for Goldeneye it keeps freezing on the intro when the lion roars. All these games did work about 3 months ago. Just wont anymore.

Have you tried re-ripping the games from your original discs?

    Us Problems with new HDD

I searched high and low for anyone having issues like this but could not find anything and please excuse me if this has been answered before. I am kind of new to this whole thing but fully understand and have done 3 softmodded so far without issue, mine and my two neighbors. But I having issues with a new HDD (320 Gbyte Western Digital Caviar SE SATA). The original HDD (80 Gbytes Seagate Barracuda IDE ATA HD) that I did the Softmod with filled up very quickly (go figure, only 80 Gbytes) and just ran out of room. I had the Western Digital SATA HD laying around and just put it in a new enclosure.

I formatted the new HDD using WBFS Manager and formatted just fine. I cloned the drives using the WBFS Manager and cloned just fine, I connected the new drive to the Wii, all the games were there from the old drive. At this point I was very excited, but ended soon when I tried to start a game. When I attempted to start the game from the new HD it just hangs at “Booting Wii game, Please wait…………..ISO(250). I’ve let it go for at least 15 minutes and nothing happens.

I figured I must have a bad clone. Reformatted the New HDD using WBFS Manager but this time did not clone. Connected the new HDD to the Wii and this time used the Configurable USB Loader to copy one game. The game copied just fine and downloaded the covers without issue. When I attempted to start the game I got the same thing as above, “Booting Wii Game, Please wait”. I connected the HDD back to my computer and opened WBFS and I can see the game there. Reconnected it back to the wii but having the same issue. One thing is still have the old hard drive and it still works

What rookie mistake did I make???? Please Help!!! It was suggested that I post a system check.
