    Old Twilight-hack - so, now what? :-D

Hi guys! I did the Twilight hack a few years ago, and haven't really touched the Wii in a while. But now my kids are getting old enough to enjoy/play, so I was thinking about getting this old servant up to speed.

I've tried some usb-loaders with an old 40 gb hdd (yes, my old ps3 one :-D ), but it doesn't seem to mount properly. I have formatted it so WBFS so that's not the issue.

To burn DVD-discs and play seem to work out nicely, I've tried a backup of my copy of Zelda, Skyward Sword, and it works like a charm.

So that leads me to believe that I must upgrade my IOS's or something.

I'm posting my syscheck below. Please feel free to comment and give suggestions!

    Thanks in advance!!

you have a few stubbed IOS that could be fixed and also when you udate your cIOS and loader you should delete the config data off the sd card for the loader also to reset the settings. soooo follow the any wii guide in my sig and you'll be set.

    Bricked WII

    Hi guys,

I have tried to softmodded my wii and it went wrong. Now its bricked. I have tried the gc controller trick but nothings happen. Is it worthy to try and buy a modchip to unbrick it? The green led and spinning drive works.

    Should i buy one?

    Thanks

.... you could make an intro post in the right forum and them make your own thread in the correct place also... this thread is not meant for this...

Hi folks, I have a problem.. I a noob (check my intro)..

So I bought a Wii off e-bay, its been hacked. Bought Lego Harry Potter for my son, but it doesn't play just get a black screen! Hence for the past few days I've been reading the FAQ's and "How to's"... So this is what I've established:

When I launch the HBC I get the following message:

I agree to the update (I assume updating is the most appropriate thing to do!) and I get the following messages:

I've checked the FAQ identified, but it doesn't help me too much. (Think I need to get rid of a fail pack, but don't know where or what it is?)

So I then decided to use syscheck to post in this thread...

The tool starts to run Ok. appears to be gathering the required data, but then it just bombs! I get a pile of numbers listed (errors I assume) but the Wii then doesn't respond and I eventually had to power off the mains as it wouldn't respond to anything! The Wii fortunately still seems to work, but I' m nervous of trying again! Note nothing was logged to the SD card.

Please could someone advise me of the best steps to make?

    Thanks.

Now I have gone through the guide, with the detour through Hackmii-FIX. It's a long and thorough guide, but it worked! ISO-loading for the kids/no more destroyed discs here we go!!

I ran through the Any Wii Guide, and it did fix one issue(loading into HomebrewChannel from PriiLoader always resulted in a DSI Error. But not anymore!)

I tried one of the problem games...Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2010. Once I choose a mission, the loading bar loads to about 80% or so and the just stops. It is still doing that. Any thoughts on what would cause that? Thank you for the help before!
