Question Problem -- CFG USB Loader Freeze at startup (splash screen)

    Hello all.

I bought a Wii-compatible USB Drive (Toshiba Stor.E 500Gb) so I can play my backups via USB.
I used EASEUS Partition Master to make two partitions on the drive, one is FAT32 (for wii use) and the other is NTFS.
If the HDD is connected to the Wii before I start CFG USB Loader (via channel or HBC) the system freezes at the splash screen of the CFG.
If the HDD is connected to the Wii AFTER I start CFG USB Loader everything goes fine. I can play all games that are stored on the HDD.

Why this is boring? Because every time I want to change games I have to get up, disconnect my HDD, start CFG Loader, wait till it starts searching for devices, connect my HDD, and then sit in the couch again.

Does anyone knows if it's possible to go directly to CFG Loader after quitting a game? (instead of going to system menu)

I would really appreciate any help.

    Thank You.

    I have same problem
i used krank guide "FAT32 Hard Drives - Formatting, Loading, Ripping, Playing" to the letter.
I have a compatible HDD and use 1 partition.

In the beginning all seemed to be working ok, and suddenly the Wii freezes after loading CFG. when plugged in after loading it seems ok.
    really annoying

    help is much appreciated

Be sure that the partition is ACTIVE.
Use a partition manager or windows build in features.

    Did this help?

@Syrisara I will try, but i followed a guide and i think it is already active using this guide http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...g-playing.html

I want to keep fat32 so i can use WiiMC to watch movies and photos

@neo05 look at this, near bottom of page Configurable Options - GAF's Wii Homebrew Tutorial
