Usb Loader gx rev929 and Super Smash Bros. Brawl in game error

After playing a round in SSBB the game will give me an error to restart the wii and consult the manual.
I have installed hermes 222/223 and tried running on IOS 222 as well as the standart 249
    anyone know what to do?

Updating to Usb Loader Gx Rev1079 is not an option
wont run, just goes back to the wii menu. Anyone know why about this?

If you are going to stick with an old rev of GX you should use 938. Personally I think you should update to 2.1 though. When you update you should do it manually and be sure to delete ALL of the existing gx config files. The newest version will not work with the old config files, that is what your problem was when you updated to 1079 (2.1).

wow...249 rev 14 is old! Get rev 17, that will probably solve you game issue. I still think you should go to gx 2.1 as well. There have been some bad things happen with olde gx revs.

I assume OP has wbfs formatted hdd, rev 17 is "old reliable" IMO. Even Mauifrog left it in his guide.

While true I thought that was mainly for NAND emulation?!?!? That's why he makes CFG default to 248?!?!?!?
