Problem with channels installed via wad?

Hi.

Well, im not really sure how / why this happens, but its been happening with random things and im annoyed by it. i also cannot seem to find anything about anybody with the same problems.

Well the first time i saw it was when i updated usb loader gx. after updating it (channel version), on startup, i would be immediatly returned to the wii menu. (after hitting "start") I also found the same problem with the wode channel, wiiflow, etc. those are all ive really tried to download, but it may happen with other things. is it just wads? is it my ios? my wii is softmodded on 4.2 and i recently installed a wode, although, its been happening before that.

Is your SD card in? they may be forwarders, also be sure to check if you have the .dol in the right spot on the SD card if they are forwarders.

Hi. I considered that as a possibility, however, i dont think they are forwarders. (when i downloaded it from whatever website, it didnt state it as a forwarder but as a channel) although, i wouldnt mind a forwarder, or to try doing that, however, i have a very hard time finding download links for the files i need. do you recommend any site to download it from? im specifically looking for wodeloader gx at the moment. so any instruction on how to set up a forwarder would be appreciated.

Basically, i tried the universal loader and usb loader gx forwarder. i installed the channel for it, but this one has a much diffrent look. normally usb loader gx has a blue-grey channel design, however, this one has a more black and grey-white design. it may just be more updated. anyways, that one i installed just takes me to the wii menu after showing me what looks like an alienware symbol with a black background...
as for the universal loader, i got that installed and found the dol, however, i dont know where to put it. help would be appreciated, although you have helped more than enough, im in a rough spot, so thanks.
