Thumbs up Usbloader GX 2.0 r1080 paths are all "usb8:/"

    Hi everyone,

I have had some problems with my usbloader gx. I installed cIOS249 r21 on base 56, I have a WBFS hdd. Whenever I load the HDD, Usbloader will not let me download covers or save settings. I am unable to update the custom paths, it just gives me an error. currently all the paths are "usb8:/*.*" I remembered it to be "SD:/*.*" at some point.

the cIOS I have installed are:
Hermes 5.1 and Waninkoko cIOSX r21.

It seems to be working using usb loader CFG r67, I am not sure. the covers are downloading right now. But I really want to er usbloader GX working

    Help is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks

They are not working anymore.. It is weird. The Hdd is recognised 1 times out of 10. but it works normally on another Wii. Both USBloader GX and CFG won't pick up the HDD.

Hi guys, I have solved the problem! turns out I had a compound problem, which was hard to troubleshoot. First of all my dodgy miniSD card was not working inside usbloader gx. causing the paths to be all wrong. Secondly, I have installed ios249 rev21 too boot the loaders and for some reason it does not like it. I have reverted back to rev17 and all is well.

    Thanks for reading

    Hi,

I had the same problem. I just changed my 4GB mini-sd card with a 1GB sd card and everything is back to normal. With the 4GB mini-sd card, i could not change the custom path (usb8/.....) in the GUI. With the new 1GB sd card, the path is now sd/...
I just copied the content of the old card on the new one.
