I'll try not to be insulting as that is rude... but did you even read the first post in this thread that explains why you can't fit more than 500 games on your drive? Well... without partitioning it with more than one partition... but that pretty much makes it more than one drive anyways.

And only someone a candle short of a lumen would want to use their 2tb drive with WBFS to begin with. Except in the use of the 3tb drives, WBFS is stone aged obsolete. Especially on larger drives. Either NTFS or FAT32 would be much better options.

No matter what file system you decide to use, Wii Backup Manager is the best utility to use. By far.

Totally opinion. There are definitly better more feature filled game managers out there IMO. But to each their own.

Oh my... can you give me some names? I'd like to check them out.

Not to argue with a staff member lol but it seem a bit odd to make a statement like yours and not give some examples...

With all due respect, of course!

It's subjective like which USB loader is the best, which baseball team is the best, or who manufacturers the best cars.

Two that I find to be better and are definitely more feature filled are Wii Backup Fusion and QtWitGui. You aren't going to get more advanced and feature filled than QtWitGui. It makes all the others seem archaic.

I looked over the QtWitGui... I gotta say... I might try out linux again just to try the full version of Qt... It looks awesome!

I took a quick look at those links. Although QtWitGui looks entirely too esoteric at first glance, Backup Fusion looks promising.

It's also subjective as to which filesystem is best. I see you didn't argue when I said WBFS was a stone aged, obsolete FS except in regards to 3tb drives. I doubt it will be long before the ntfs and fat libs are updated to accommodate the new 4k sector size drives and renders WBFS completely useless but, right now, WBFS is the only 3tb game in town. As I said before, it's ironic that we have to use an archaic filesystem to use the latest technology drives on the Wii.

To make this more on-topic, one of my criteria on choosing WBM was the fact that it was the ONLY one I tested that worked with the 3tb drives. I have not tested the two you mentioned.

The other criteria was how easy it was to move/copy large numbers of files back and forth from one format/filesystem to another, seamlessly, with the fewest number of clicks. If I have to type anything, well, that's instant disqualification.

I'll try to stay more on topic with this and say that WBM has been tested and is known to work with the 4k sector size drives.
