Wii Burns are not correct format when inserted!!!

    Hello All...
I'm going to try to ask this question in a better description.

    Senero...
I have a alot of Wii games that I want to back up. My son lent out his SipderMan game to a freind at school, well guess what That game disappeard...Hmmm.( He had to pick up alot of dog poop after that $ loss). So anyway I wanted to check out how to backup the rest of the games just in case. I have done alot of online reading and downloads.
    Software...I have and installed
    RawDump 2.0
    Net Framwork 2.0
    Lg-8164B DVD reader
    Nero 9.0
    Magiciso 5.5+
    Updated console 4.3U
Home brew Channel (No apps installed on SD card) Just Bubbles
    Wireless Access active on console
Several different DVD burners(Have tried them all burning ISO's

    Prediciment...
I have burned several of my Wii games (Indiana Lego's,Mickey's Epic,Donkey Kong Country). These are all pretty new games , that is why I want to back them up. I also have many older games(around 3 to 5 years old which I haven't tried to backup yet.

I have backuped the 3 latter games using rawdump 2.0. It appears to work, it sees the title then I click the dump button. 2.5+ hrs later it completes. No errors. I then burn the ISO that it creates to a Memorex 4.7 gb dvd -r Using Nero. I've tried Mem 4.7 gb -RW as well. Write speed I set to 4x Thats pretty Darn slow. Do I need a LG DVD burner as well?

I am really at a loss here now. I wonder wich side my issue is Read,Write, or Wii ???
I feel I have a right to make backups of these games. I paid out Alot of $ over the years.
And with a 9 year old with neighbor kids I better get a safe...LOL.

I know this post was winded but...If Anyone could give me some input, it would greatly be appreiciated!

    Intrepid
Still My console reads "Wrong Format"

Try following one of our soft mod guides and switching to a USB loader instead of having to burn games.

.wbfs is the correct format i believe.

Did I come off like a jerk?? Read more here

Have you looked at the stickied threads in the dumping and burning discs forum? I do not burn my games, I use a usb hard drive, but there are some very good guides about making backup disc in there.

Personally I agree with shift_lock. 300 gb will be fine. here are some hd compatibility lists
