Development on GX died off last July which is probably the cause of the negativity about it, but nobody seemed to notice it picked back up again a few months later, and here we are ~6 months later and 2.0 is out

I did so. Empty / formated card with apps/usbloader-gx folder on it, and usb loader gx files.

I have tried many times with many ios configs, but still black screen after launching game. I tried to install cIOSx v21, but still no luck.
    What game?

We've seen this of late; one user only today reported not only did it hang, but it (the Wii) bricked after the hang. While I don't say this is proof of USB Loader GX's culpability (keep in mind when this project "died," some other non-original developer picked it up awhile before it returned to the "rightful owners"), it's nice to see it has been addressed.

I still use it, but this loader has very strong feelings attached with it (meaning, both ways; ardent supporters and detractors --- yes, mods included).

I installed Channel version and copied .dol file again to apps/usbloader_gx folder.. after that everything works just fine!

Now it works from Channel,HBC and forwarder all ok. Its time to remove Channel version..

Maybe .dol file was corrupted or something, on my copy process..

    Thanks guys.

Lol, sorry. I was just messing around. I still doubt that GX caused the (few) bricks in the first place, or at least were directly responsible. It is my understanding that GX was blamed because the cause was unknown, and GX was the last thing to run.

This is very interesting news. While I doubt I will be switching to it, I hope that this is stable. I know a lot of people use GX because they like the way it is set up, so it would be nice to know that they can use it without compatibility problems. I know I have insulted GX quite a bit (although I still think a fair amount of it was justifiable), but I would be happy to stop if it works well.
Is this definitely an official release?

Yes this is definitely an official release. I did a lot of testing/bug reporting to help squash some of the r1xxx bugs along the way, I found a big one (stack dump) when everyone else said "works for me" I traced it down to the exact setting that was causing the crash (default settings didn't crash, thats why everybody thought it was ok). I also doubt GX was responsible for any bricks. And the last several r1xxx releases (r1033+ especially) have been stable for me on a few systems.
