convert a forwarder channell to point to usb ?

This question has been raised and i have read it the thread, but it seems to point to a guide that shows you how to create a forwarder channell for a game on say a wbfs partition. All i want to do i use a really cool animated forwarder channell for the sega emulator and have it point to usb:\apps\genplusgx\boot.dol. I have tried doing this in customizemii as it has been suggested i just need to type this, how ever it will not let me edit the type when it extracts the dol from the wad so i browse for the boot.dol file on the usb hdd, obviously the usb hdd needs to be connected to the pc for me to do this and then it prefixes it p:\app\genplusgx\boot.dol and wont let me change the p: to usb...is it possible to do this or is there a lot more to it than just changing this text...can some one do it if i provide the wad ?

    thanks

you MUST have devkitPPC and LiboGC installed to make that kind of forwarder...
you can use the nforwarder 58 as base and just change forwarder paths and banner, icon(images),brlyt & brlan files with the ones from the wad you have(replace, extract)
