Question No Video, but have audio, with certain PAL games on NTSC Wii

    First a lil backstory.

I have been trying to softmod my friends Wii which is a 4.1U. I had read online that there is no need to update to 4.2U. My Wii, however, is a 4.2U.

Now, on my 4.2U, 2 PAL games work perfectly fine for me. 'Wii Party' & 'Wii Play'

For some reason, those 2 titles will show no video, and only play the audio, on my friends 4.1U Wii.

I've searched and searched and searched the internet on how to fix this, and i've come up short. Each wii has the latest HBC, WiiFlow, but for some reason nothing is working on my friends Wii.

I have run SignCheck on both Wii's. I will paste them here for anyone who is experienced with IOS CIOS, cause I sure as hell aint.

Now, my friends IOS 249, 250, the first and last disabled(s), were enabled at one point when i used CIOSX_38_rev17, and I still got the same results, black screen, but with audio. I am NO expert at IOS CIOS, I just do what I find on the internet.

The only difference I can think of, is that my Wii was updated to 4.2U officialy, and I had to use another method of getting HBC back years ago.

The other problem is, I have no internet access at my home nor does my friend. I'm parked at a local McDonalds right now. So I cant use any special apps on the Wii that require you to have intertet access. I've been trying to install things as .wad(s) to get his Wii going.

Other than those 2 games, my friends 4.1U Wii can read backups perfectly, WiiFlow, CoverFloader, work perfectly fine. It's just those 2 PAL games that are problems.

If anyone has any ideas, please, I'm desperate, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank You for your time.

Im having the exact same problem, except with BeyBlades Metal Fusion Counter Leone. I can hear the game sounds and music if i play with the wiimote after its loaded the game, but even after forcing NTSC I can't see anything it goes to my tv standard (no signal) screen while the sound continues on its jolly lil gaming way. Now were I a blind person this mightve been alright for me, (althought I don't kno how successful they would be at gaming :-P_) but please can someone help, I play many PAL games on my softmodded NTSC Wii using wiiflow latest runing of my usb HD, but this problem is a first... someone please... Not sure how this was solved since this thread is almost a year old. I would say follow the softmod any wii guide. If that doesn't work or you already have, start your own thread on your problem with a system check included in a spoiler.
