    configurable usb loader freezes???

I've got a mybook usb 500 GB drive and followed the soft mod guide(4.3) here and now have 4.1E. I can get the drive to mount ONLY by unplugging it when configurable usb loader loads and attempts to mount within 30 seconds. However, the problem is that i HAVE TO unplug and replug it back in when it's attempting to mount. It FREEZES when the usb drive stays in. Any suggestions, I believe the usb configurable in the current guide is v48. Should I try the v60? Is this normal for it to freeze when I leave the usb drive connected?

    Thanks in advance!

    Exclamation

Seconded. I have the same problem. CFG USB has ben working for the past few months, but lately it started freezing a lot when I would load it. I re-installed all of my homebrew apps and IOS's and such, and now it won't ever load unless I unplug it first and then reload it. I've been looking around on the site for a few days and can't find anything. Also, I tried using USB Loader GX, and it does the same thing. If the USB HDD is plugged in on the initial start, it will freeze on the scree "Waiting for device to initialize". But if I start the loader WITHOUT the HDD plugged in, and wait until it says "waiting for device" and counts down to plug it in, it loads fine.

Did you follow the fat32 guide to setup your drive? There is a link in the spoiler below.

I'm using a hard drive formatted to WBFS, and it would be kind of pain to reformat it, as I has a lot of games on it. Do you know for sure that using FAT32 will fix the problem? I don't want to waste all of that time if the problem is actually something else. How can I figure out what the problem actually is for sure?
