Within 1MIN or LESS, game freezes, I tried many loaders, just wont work.

I start up any wii game I have on my external hard drive, through USB LOADER GX, and the game starts I see like a starting screen then about within 10-30 seconds the game freezes.

I watch my HDD and it stops blinking... any ideas? I would greatly greatly appreciate it.

I tried about 4 different USB Loaders and all the same thing..., a few seconds then stops.... I heard of spin stop things about the HDD but, would it just decide to stop spinning like that?

Did you check to see if the drive and the controller you're using are on the compatibility lists? Did you softmod with one of our guides?

Are you using a downloaded iso, or is it a retail rip?

I spent like over 5 hours staying up to 6 in the morning , trying to search anything about drives or anything, could you help me out and maybe help link them, or give ideas of what the problem may be.

And for the question about it being a rip, I ripped this games from my friends hard drive which all his games work perfectly on his modded wii.

Ok, well as Nightstah mentioned, check that your HD is compatible here: USB Devices Compatibility List - WikiTemp.

Next make sure you have IOS249 installed, rev 17 or higher.

Ask your friend what settings he uses for the game.

And finally plug your HD into your friends Wii and make sure it's (HD&Game) working ok.

Thx guys you made me see the light.
What I did was install a game I had to my drive, and guess what I loaded it up and it worked flawlessly, apparently all the games I downloaded probably got corrupted? any thoughts about that?

All my games I converted from gfsb to iso, then went to my iso and converted back iso to gfsb, maybe something went wrong there?

Just downloaded a ISO a put it on my drive, and it worked perfectly as well.

I'm going to assume converting wfbs to iso, then iso to wfbs was a bad idea.
