uloader nand emulation doubts..! help plz..

Edit: if this thread was made in wrong place, can a mod plz move it please? thx/sorry.

Hi can someone explain to me something...

Im on uloader 5.1d and i understand all about the nand emulation options... but i really need to know something...
I read on a uloader 4.5b readme.txt file that you can only write the save from the nand to the sd card/usb.... but that u couldnt write sd to nand (the other way around)
is this STILL the case, or can is it already found out; how to do it? Does ANYONE know how to do this... even if its with another program? I tried with Wanin`s savegame manager... but wii did not recognize files.
    Help plz; thx in advance.

... i achiveved success on this situation, but it was very weird.
1st off, the game was NSMB and i just extracted the save from the nand to the SD because i was just experimenting, so i deleted the save from the nand afterwards and then tried to copy it back, as u would of guessed, i couldnt. so i DLded savegame manager and in my ms:/savegames dir, i had to modify the directory structure uloader made the files into... to the structure of savegame manager`s savegames and put it in this folder, it got recognized.....
BUT... i got an error -1 (on wiibrew this means ``If no save game exists on the wii you will get error 1``).
Does anyone know why this happened??! Although my savegame WAS copied succesfully?

To copy games saves I've always use Savegame Manager GX (--> R077.dol - savegame-manager-gx - Pre-Compiled dol revision 77 - Project Hosting on Google Code)
Try it it might works for you.

I use USB Loader GX and am also having savegame issues, basically I'm running out of space on the Wii's Nand.
I've tried Sneek and just couldn't get it working, the best I got was a Wii that takes 3 minutes to boot to the main menu.

The uLoader program boasts a FFS module that copies your savegame to the nand (savegame emulation) when loading a game,
am I right in assuming that uloader can be run on a standard Wii (not-SNEEK'd) and all your savegames can be stored on the SD card and copied over to the Wii when needed ?

This would be great for the limited wii space issue that everyone who doesn't use Sneek is encountering ?

    Hey d_bizzz,
From what you have describe your most simple solution would be to transfer your saves to your SD card and deleteting the older saves which you are less likely to play.
The Uloader way will need your HDD to be formatted in WBFS and FAT32. Uloader supports FAT32 but in CISO format - which means files greater than 4G will not copy over.

Ouch, seems like uLoader still has a few flaws ,, yeah I have been deleting older saves, but am finding that the main one's I have left are all huge (e.g. SSBB - 128 blocks, Pro Evo 2010 - 128 blocks, LEGO Indiana Jones 2 - 128 blocks, Call of Duty - 63 blocks, and most of the Rockband & Guitar Hero games all about 50+ blocks each) ...

Fortunately since my last post I have been able to get Sneek running now, so I have unlimited (well the limit of the SD card) save game space, much bigger than the 1800 blocks the Wii leaves you with, Sneek is such a bitch to setup, but once it's running speedy it's a good solution to space problems ,,

My only issue now is getting the saves across from my real nand into the Sneek SD-Nand ,,,

Many thanks for your advice hulk691
