From 5.0 from 5.1. I got the latter installed, as it didn't work, I installed the first. That still didn't work, so I went with v4.

Now, that does make a lot of sense. I missed that part on your guide, but I'll definitely be more thorough in the future. Thanks.

As far as I know, there are no WiiFlow 2.0 WADs (but maybe I don't know enough). There are, though, many flavors of forwarders for WiiFlow 1.1 that work just fine for 2.0. Check the full install of the first.

I got sick of it, the setting of paths seemed unfriendly on a fresh install, and the settings seemed illogical. It will now boot up no matter what and always create a wiiflow.ini if there isnt one. No problems booting from all SD, there is nothing to edit. It also boots faster this way.

*wiiflow will now detect your boot.dol and look in the same folder for wiiflow.ini, if it is not found there it will not look anywhere else, it will be created there. its that simple.

*language.ini and titles.ini will be read also from the same folder as wiiflow. It will not look anywhere else.

*Data directories will be created on the same drive your boot.dol is located in drive:/wiiflow, to have boot.dol on one drive (say SD) and data folders on another (USB) set data_on_usb=yes. THE ONLY TIME you need to modify something is if you want data and dol on seperate drives. To make your setup work with this just put your ini's in apps/wiiflow and your data dirs in drive:/wiiflow and set the paths in wiiflow.ini. I know this seems stupid to change this but we need static paths and it was creating a massacre on the updater.

    5 Themes included

Which is why I assume the new(er) versions are hosted on the link in the OP of this thread.

I tried to do just as you are, loading games without using a USB HDD in any way, shape or form...didn't have much luck. From my experience I wasn't even able to boot up a loader like WiiFlow or UsbLoaderGx without having a USB device plugged in and ready to be read, which meant I needed my IOSs customized and up to snuff to be able to read my HDD.

Luckily, my 320gb external hdd (which was half full with important stuff) didn't need reformatting because I guess it had come formatted as FAT (even though it reads as NTFS) which I guess explains why I've never been able to dump files larger than 4gb on to it.

    Good luck.

I have the new wiiflow 2.0 and I keep having a problem I believe the system is not downloading all the coverart it stays on the same screen for ever. I've tried to download the cover art and place it in the directory for the program and it still does not recongize it. It just comes up as blank. Then the wiiflow started to freeze on me so I cleared all the pervious download box art and cover art and I'm trying to download all of them which is around 120games. Right now its been about 2 hours and its not even close to finishing anybody running in to this issue. Or should I just be patient thank you.

This is how i got covers loading:

I had to delete the Wiiflow folder in the root of my SD card, this only ditches saved settings and the like...not a big deal.

    The I recreated a WiiFlow folder in my root as follows;

    sd:\wiiflow\boxcovers

dumped all my covers from which I obtained from wiitbd.com into \boxcovers, booted up and voila!

MAKE SURE ALL COVER ART MATCHES GAME NAMES (ie; SB4P01.png for the [PAL]Super Mario Galaxy [SW4P01.wbfs])

the settings, etc of wii flow will be recreated and saved into the bare bones sd:\wiiflow directory you created.

    hope this helps.

    cheers
