needs unstubbed cIOS 222 v4 or 249 v9 GX USB Loader

    Hi
my son wanted Mario Galaxy 2 on the day it came out so while I was out he updated the wii to 4.2E. The game works fine and so the HBC however when I try to run the USB GX loader I get the following error.

    "needs unstubbed cIOS 222 v4 or 249 v9"

Now I've read a few threads on this like,

"I used the Any Title Deleter MOD: AnyTitle Deleter/AnyTitle Deleter MOD - WiiBrew to remove 222, 249 (and also 223 and 250 though im not sure you need to). Then I re ran the cIOS installer. For both those programs I used IOS36. Then I ran USB loader and it's all good now"

    and a couple referencing, http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...y-4-2-wii.html

Which part of the tutorial should I proceed with, these?

Step 4 - Delete The Stubbed IOS
a)Re-run Homebrew Channel and Load DOP-Mii again. Choose the first option by pressing A (iOS:36), You should now be taken to a menu with three options: iOS, BC, mIOS. Select iOS by pressing A. Go to iOS222. Under currently installed, you should 'Stub', Press - on your wiimote and press A to confirm. Do the same un-installation process for iOS223, iOS249 and iOS250 also. Do NOT remove any Other IOS!
    Once done, exit.

    Step 5 - Installing cIOS249-rev17
    a) Re-run Homebrew Channel and load cIOS38-rev17 Installer. Choose IOS36 and press A and then choose Network Install (requires wi-fi) or Wad Install (offline) and press A.
    cIOS249 Installed.

    Thanks for your help.

I would try step 5 first and if it doesn`t work try step 4.

I have always managed to overwrite the stub IOS`s but some people have reported the need to remove them first.

Had to do it from step 3 to step 5, GX now works but my HBC is upsidedown. I'm just looking into how to fix this. Thanks
