    Question neogamma 8 beta 3 error 1027 help!?

    when i try to load a game from a dvd-r i get error 1027. can somone tell me why and how i can fix it?

    Based on what you have told us no, but have you ever gotten a backup to work before? From disk or any other device?

    How old is your wii? if you got it in the last year it may have the new drivechip (d2-3) that won't allow for backups to be played from disk. Then you would need to use a usb harddrive or flashdrive to do it.
    If it is one of the black wii consoles or was purchased since october, this is probably a certainty.

    about 2 years old. i got it in december of 2008

    Perform an IOS scan as described here and post your results as a reply within this thread (btw: what softmod guide did you use?)

    no. my wii has never been sent in for anything. and ill do an ios scn tomarow because im writng from my dsi and my mom gets mad when i use my laptop at night.

    So you have followed a non-wiihacks guide, that much is obvious. Firstly, no wiihacks recommended guide calls for the installation of cIOS-X Rev 19 (IOS 249). Secondly, many of your IOS are extremely out of date. Those two things right there may account for all of your woes. Look here to see what I'm talking about. You can use NUS Downloader to update your IOS. You should revert/change to IOS 249 Rev 17 as well. Your IOS scans are a mess.
