USB Loader GX not finding HDD...

    Hi all

I have a Western Digital 160Gb HDD that, from what I can gather, seems to be compatible. It's this one:

WD Support > Downloads > Legacy External > WD Dual-Option Combo External Drive

    WD1600B011

I've formatted it to FAT32 using the WD tool then set it up in WBFS manager with a game on.

I've also tried a USB memory card reader with an 8Gb Micro SDHC and it works with my Wii, so the software is obviously installed correctly.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

What utilities would you use to create the partition and format to fat32 in xp?

    Hi there

Still no joy - I followed all of the steps and had two partitions, primary/active, etc. The Wii still doesn't see it - but, worse, my laptop doesn't anymore!

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.
