    Possible Solution for you?

I ran into this problem and Google'd to find answers. Ran into this thread which had no solution besides it being my fault. However, I tried powering off from the wii remote. When I pressed the button once it went from black screen to a blue screen with a monkey laying down and one facing the screen. So I hit A and B a few times and viola the screen that shows to connect the control to your wrist showed. So it's working fine for now. Gonna play for a minute and see if it happens when I reset the console.

    >>> Played Main Game and mini Games. Reset Wii and it loaded fine. No more black screen. Did this on Neogamma R8 b7. cIOS rev14 I believe.

I tried the Neogamma R9B7 - same black screen

I can now get the Monkey's to appear, the wriststrap warning screen and SEGA screen but after that the screen goes black and the disk drive lights flash. The black screen and flashing drive lights happen only for this game and Sonic Racing. There must be something common between the two. I must be missing an update somewhere....very odd....

Meant to tell you I was playing from a burnt disc.... Maybe it is a USB problem... Try a different USB if you have it available ... That's the only suggestion I have as I have not used USB Loader

    Problem solved!!!

    It WAS the USB drive!
I had never heard of this before...usually a disk works or it doesn't.
Even though I had about a dozen games working there were 2 that wouldn't work no matter what.
So I tried a fast USB thumbdrive and sure enough they worked.
I replaced my hard drive and all are working now.
