    USB Loader GX Questions

Put USB Loader GX and the forwarder on yesterday, loaded up the USB drive and gave it a second partitiion.

When I loaded it yesterday, I tried to load the covers. But the process seemed to freeze. Is it trying to load an entire list, or just the one I selected? If I download the 1300+ list, is there a way to just load the new covers?

Then, I have read about that if you have the second partition, you can put the files that would normally go on the SD card on there (covers, wad file, etc). Would I point to the USB drive when setting the covers path?

If I went that route, how do I change the forwarder path?

    Thanks!
    Chris

OK, sounds like you have a WBFS partition & a FAT32 partition, if the WBFS is the first partition of the 2, then it does not need to be marked as active, so mark the FAT32 partition as active.

Copy the contents of the SD Card to the FAT32 part of the hard drive, plug in and boot up without the SD Card being in the Wii, fire up USB Loader via the channel and edit the options to now use the USB paths.

You won't need to edit the forwarder paths, it will look for SD then USB automatically.

Once all that is complete, you can download the covers much easier.
Please remember your manners - say Thank You if someone helped , it doesn't hurt

Thanks! I do have the USB HDD WBFS and FAT32. WBFS is the first partition, but do not recall if I have it marked active or not. Will this make a difference?

And I will try the files on the USB and covers later today.

    Thanks again...
