    HDD problems on USB Loaders

    Hi Everybody.

I'm experiencing a problem with my HD since I've tried to play GH5 under USB Loader GX.

USB Loader GX shows my games, but they don't work, I've only a black screen, and when I try to use WiiFlow, show me a WBFS error -1.

I've used other HD and it worked fine.

Anyone could say, what is this problem that I'm having with my disk?

    My system.
    Wii LU64
    SM 4.2U
    cIOS 38 rev17
    cIOS 222/223
    PriiLoader
    BootMii (IOS)
    External Drive Seagate Raptor 500GB

    Thanks in advance,

    Sorry my poor english.

    Is all your drive WBFS?

Did you try putting a game on the drive vai the Wii & USB Loader and play the game?

Sometimes WBFS Manager can mess up.
Please remember your manners - say Thank You if someone helped , it doesn't hurt

Hi Wiicker, Thank you for the response.

I've tried to do that. I've used Disk Wizard from Seagate to remove the logical partition and create another one and the problem persists.

P.S. If you can understand my english, I'll keep using, otherwise, Portuguese or French.

Hi lfc4ever, Thanks for the response.

Yes, my drive have only one partition and I've made it a WBFS.
Tried to install a game from a DVD via USB Loader GX, the Loader have installed but when I try to play I get a black screen.

I used to play my games without any problem. Had since 100 backups.

Have you updated something, or has the Wii updated anything, since it was ok?

lfc4ever, That's the strange thing... My brother's HD is the same as mine, and it works fine...

I think I've started to get the problem after trying to play Guitar Hero 5.
I've changed some settings on Game Load Menu (USB Loader GX) then the problem started.

The disk works, but don't run the games, I can format in WBFS put the ISOs, USB Loader GX and uLoader can see the games but can't run it, black screen.
When using WiiFlow, gives me the erro "WBFS error = -1"...

Will I have to use my HD only with the PC?

Have you tried swapping hard disks around, if you can, just to check.

This will then say whether it is the hard disk or the Wii.

We have another option, and that is to go full FAT32, but keep posting and we will get there.

lfc4ever, I think that I didn't make my post clear for understanding.

Actually, my brother's disk works on my Wii. That's strange.

    It's a disk problem... I guess...

I'll try other types of formatting and different tools to see what happens.

Last try will be clone my brother's disk into mine.

I'll post when I finish these processes.

    Wiicker,

I believe that the problem is with the USB Disk, more specifcally, in the partition system, maybe some disk tool will help me.

    Thanks.
