    Backup LAUNCHER

I've wasted way too much time googling this and taking my SD card in and out, and facing disappointment every step of the way. I just want simplicity.

I have a burned game. I'm looking for a backup launcher and how exactly (emphasis on exactly) to install it. I've looked at the tutorials and they never seem to work for me. I try downloading NeoGamma, but it never appears on my Wii.

Someone just please give me a simple step by step run-through of how I get a backup launcher installed.

    System Menu 4.2
SD card holds up to 512 MB
    boot1
IOS61 (and so far I think I've been unable to change it)

    Thanks.

(Yes, I know I'm a noob. But I'm just sick of the trial and error methods I've been working with.)

Are you looking for a loader to load from a USB drive or SD card? If so this is what I use. Go herehttp://http://www.gbatemp.net/index....owtopic=147638 and scroll down a bit (under the video) and download cfg USB Loader 51.zip file. Extract it and inside there are 3 folders. click cfg_usb_loader 51. There is a folder called "insdroot" Inside that folder there is a folder caller " usb-loader, copy that to the root of your SD card. there is another folder called "apps" take the folder inside that called "USBloader" and copy it to your apps folder on the root of your SD card. Or simply merge the folders. Put your SD card in your wii, Load the homebrew channel and you should see Configurable USB Loader. hope this helps.

No Krank he is looking for a disc loader.
In your apps folder on sd card make sure you have WAD manager, if not google download it and put it in apps folder.
Now in WAD folder on sd card, download extract and put this in it: NeoGammaR8RC1.zip

Now open homebrewchannel, choose WAD manager, hit A until you get to install screen ad then higjlight Neogamm WAD and install.

Have you actually, successfully soft modded your Wii yet? Do you have the Homebrew Channel?
    Which tutorial did you use?

Yeah, I've already installed the HBC. HB itself works just fine.
The tutorial I used was... I'm pretty sure it was something like "full hacking guide 4.2!!!!!"

You've made the most progress for me yet, wiimaster. Though, in the WAD manager app it makes choose an IOS. Of course, it freezes when I choose IOS249, and for IOS36 it gives me an error. "ret = -1".

Appreciate the help! Keep it coming.

(I actually have two Wiis and I'm trying different methods on each of them. For the other one, I'm following this guide. It's a beautiful guide, but I had an error (ret = -4100) at the last step, so the race is still on.)
