    Wii Usb trouble

    here is the breakdown..
    wii--4.2u
    cios249_rev14...but have tried from 10-17..
    cios 222/223 rev 4
I have tried several drives including 3 diff wd passport drives and I now have a seagate expansion 250gb drive...all drives I have tried show on the list....
drive is formated as fat32 1 part..is all i have on it..folder named wbfs with known working game inside...
i can see it with snes9x..
i watch movies from it with geexbox....
i browse it with homebrew browser...
I can load games from disc with neogamma..
    loaders tried....cfg,wiiflow, usb-loader gx...none work
but for some reason i can't get any loader to find it..has been this way with all the drives... I followed messie's guide to the T about 3 times now....

I have no idea what it could be I always get an init error -1 or init error -1001
have tried pluggingin at diff times...before power on, after power on, after homebrew load screen, after loader loads..nothing works for me...

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME....i am about to just crush this wii with a hammer...lol

You need to have a program called wbfs manager, you will load it then format your drive to a wbfs format. You dont need a folder named wbfs. You will load your games thru wbfs manager, and your wii will see the drive and games then.

Click the "WBFS" Link in my sig and read that guide...

Then click HERE to read that guide for the HDD...

This may sound basic but are you plugging it in the bottom usb port?

What usb port are you using....

You have to have it in the left most port if you have it standing up....

Or more likely down the active partitions problems of 2 partitions of FAT32 & WBFS on a USB HDD that the Wii doesn't like,

Mark the FAT32 partition as the active partition.
Please remember your manners - say Thank You if someone helped , it doesn't hurt
