ok so everything is working as it should thanks

I've added a music folder and converted a mp3 to ogg drop it in the music folder and now it cashes on boot i.e stack error.
i remove the music file from the folder and all is well again.
any suggestions? i take it the music folder goes in the same place as the themes and covers folders etc.

It could be the file size. The larger the file the more memory it takes up from the application. Try a file around or less than 3MB in size and see if the crash dump occurs. If it does, try deleting the wiiflow.ini file from your device. This will force the app to generate a new one and hopefully eliminate the error.

This might just be a bug in the code. I was PMed a couple weeks back by another member who was unsuccessful in getting bg music to play from a USB drive. You could try loading the app from your SD card or post your issue along with everything you've tried at this link, so the devs working on Wiiflow can take a look: Issues - wiiflow - Project Hosting on Google Code

Same thing here. It worked fine at the beginning, but then I had version 2 in a separate folder and both started crashing. I figured deleting/renaming wiiflow.ini solved the problem, but found a definite solution moving the contents from SD:\wiiflow to SD:\apps\wiiflow.

    Games and Uses of Wiiflow

What exactly does Wiiflow do after this is set up? Does Wiiflow only launch backup games or does it have other uses? I thought it may be an entire new Wii dashboard.

In short, it does both. It loads backups and version 2 can launch all channels on your system menu (I said channels, not settings, SD card menu or message board).
I do use 2.0 instead of the system menu (only because it looks cuter, yes). I've installed it in Priiloader and set it as autoboot. Bad thing is that there aren't covers for Virtual Console games (at least the ones I've got).

My gosh, I just saw your message now! Sorry about that, I didn't know g-mail filtered new messages.

After hours of fiddling I learned how to make USB loader and Wiiflow work. I even figured out how to do some basic theme editing. I never knew about a version 2.0 though. I didn't know about such features. Well, I have version 1.0 working now.

Thank you for the help. I have hit you with a "Thank You" button. Sorry it's one month late.

I am having same problem with WiiFlow give me a code dump as soon as the usb hard drive is loaded. I cant do anything. I have delete the wiiflow.ini and that didnt help.

Please help. I believe this started right after I downloaded the missing covers.. Restarted wii and then got code dump.

I had 1.1 installed and then installed 2.2. Should I move the contents of sd:\wiiflow to sd:\apps\wiiflow as suggested before?

Ok I moved all to sd:\apps\wiiflow. Solved the core dump problem, but now no covers are displaying.. What am I doing wrong? edited the wiiflow.ini to solve directory problem.. got core dump. finally deleted cache files and all works now..

    wiiflow 2.2 code dump

The error is due to connecting more than one wiimote when the wii is powered up. This is bug. A lot of people are having this wiiflow 2.2 crash issue. I'm waiting for the fix like a lot of other people. If you know a way to get around this, please share.
