PS2 Singstar mic - Solution?

Hey guys,

I know, yet another question about the PS2 Singstar mic, but I have read about 200 posts, but I still cannot get the damn thing to work...
Current softmod on wii 4.0E
IOS249: Waninkok's cIOS38r15
IOS222: Hermes cIOS (IOS37+38)
ISO223: Hermes cIOS (IOS38+60) or Hermes cIOS (ISO37+38) (tried both)

I tried running Guiter Hero World Tour (read numerous posts that it should work) but I cannot get the mics to work. Tried with USB Loader GX (startup IOS 222 or 249 - game IOS 222-223-249), tried with uloader 3.5 from Hermes (Game IOS222-223-249) and NeoGamma (hangs at green screen, but that's because cIOS38r15 is not compatible with NeoGamma).

My counter in USB Loader GX states currently 36 loads, but non succesfull :(
What I do within the game to test --> I don't connect to WFC, go to Quickplay, try to choose vocals, but it say's every time no mic found.
The blue led on the USB-thingy is on. Because my HDD is connected to the lower USB-port, the mic is connected in the upper USB-port.

I've been trying for 2 weeks now, but still no result...
I hope there's anyone out there who can help me with this issue

Have you tried connecting the Mic to the lower USB port?

might it be the fact that they ps2 mics and they just dont work with the wii

they do work on ps2, pc and wii

since when any other posts ive read no one else can get them to work myself included. please tell us how

Just plug in the Mic and play the game.

If the game won't play, black / frozen screen, then its an cIOS / IOS omitted / incorrect version, simples.

Yes, but than the usb-loaders doesn't work and so I cannoot test GHWT...
The LED turns blue, but it also did that on the other USB-port

IMHO, the game itself isn't really the issue. I think I'm not selecting the correct settings for cIOS.

Are there perhaps some IOS-updates to do with DOP-IOS?

no my problem is not getting the games to work nor is the problem on the first post the problem is the playstation mics. my games work fine with a logitec mic just the ps2 mics dont seem to be compatible

Can you tell me wich games you have? If the Logitech mics are compatible with all (or almost all) Wii singing games (GH, RB, Sing-It, U-Sing, ...), apart from Wii Speak then, I think I should consider buying a Logitech mic.
Any idea on cheapest available?
