Roms? Do you actually mean ISOs?

Yes it is possible, there are options for Video settings in most loaders.

Perhaps the ISO is bad. Zelda is not a difficult game to get working and you will undoubtedly have the IOS it requires.

I have several NTSC ISOs working on my PAL Wii without a single black screen, I do get the occasional green screen but that is fixed by the Video settings options.

Adding the burning, ripping step is pointless, the extra operation could just add errors.

Not all NTSC games carry the necessary code to display PAL. If your TV does not display NTSC then the best you will get is Black and White. Either get a new LCD TV that displays NTSC or wait for the PAL version to come out.

alright so now im travelling into territory i have no idea about but, back when i played gamecube one option for display was ntsc (60 Hz) and my tv would play when it was selected. does this mean it supports ntsc, or something else?

again i have no idea about regions, well i mean i know ordinarily a pal wii wont play an ntsc game, but as far as display options for regions and the like im stumped
