USB Loader GX Install to Wii HDD problem

Alright... sometimes when I install a game to the hard drive (I use originals for this only) in USB loader GX(version is w/e version came w/ messies 4.2 guide) I get all kinds of funky small and big file sizes for different games.

I know that it automatically scrubbs the games but these games gave me weird sizes:

Animal Crossing:WW- .31GB (this seems unlikely)(and it didn't work... just black screen at launch)
New Super Mario Bros.- .34GB (this seems kinda acceptable considering the game)

    THIS is EXTRA WEIRD:
Mario Kart Wii- 8.75GB*(all these work, but it takes up too much space on my HDD)
    Red Steel- 8.75GB*
    Super Paper Mario- 8.75GB*

*I know the discs are only 4.7GB in size(unformatted) so IDK why this is happenning). I even used WBFS manager on these, extracted them to my computer and my computer even told me they were this size.

Question Same issue on two Wiis

I've been Googling like crazy trying to figure out why these Wiis keep installing discs at ridiculous sizes. When I go to install the game from USB Loader GX it takes seemingly forever (close to an hour per disc). When it's done, the game is listed as something larger than 5000MB. When I extract the game from the Wii using any different WBFS Manager (I've tried three), they come off at 8.75 GB. They can be scrubbed, but the images remain a good 4 GB larger than they should be. This makes no sense. It makes even less since that they can be played like this. What the hell is going on? How do I trim these huge images?

Both of my Wiis are 4.2 and were mod'd the same way (using a guide on this site). They have zero problems other than this weirdness. Both have WD My Passport USB drives that also work great.

    Thanks for any help!

at least im not the only one having this problem... I dont know why some games work properly and some games are ridiculous... and again as far as the file sizes go only the really weird small ones are unplayable... I would just like to resolve this cuz my HDD is only 120 GB's and these take up way too much space!!!

I got some small ones too but they work

So the first few games I installed with USB Loader GX also gave me puzzlingly small files sizes (about a third of a gig):

    Wii Sports
    Wii Play
    New Super Mario Bros Wii

The thing is, they work totally fine.

These games I've had for a while and played before installing Homebrew and USB Loader GX and any I've installed since have been normal file sizes.

At first I just figured the loader had an error in displaying the file size but they also took a lot less time to upload. I'm wondering if it has something to do with having save files on the Wii console before installation.

Those files are installing appropriately. Their file sizes are among the smallest of the collection of games for the Wii.

Yeah I have NSMB and it installed as .34GB... It works totally fine and it seems like an ok file size considering the game is a 2D side-scroller.

The thing is, is that Animal Crossing installed as .31GB and that seems weird considering its 3D and contains alot of information (and as previously mentioned it didn't work)

I wish there was an option to install the games normal size (unscrubbed) on the HDD!
