USB loader GX missing game settings?

When I select a game it comes up and there is no settings option on the bottom, just back and I'm not sure how to enable game settings per game? Yes, quickboot is off, which is why I see everything, except a settings button when I start up the game. I can only select the game or back

Are you running as a channel without SD card?

Hi, I'm in the same boat with you. Moreover, I cannot load boxart by pressing 1 button. Anybody can help, please?

You could start by answering my question in post number 2, it wasn't directed at you specifically, nevertheless I think it'd be useful if you could answer it.

It must be a config file issue. There are quite a few files used by GX, maybe one is poorly or incorrectly edited by the software. You might also get an issue if the loader expects to save it's config information to USB and you don't have a FAT32 partition set up.

This problem happened after I update my GX to 874. Does it now need FAT32 partition along with WBFS in the USB Hard Drive?

I cannot access the GX Setting (Custom Path, Update, Default Setting). When I click this message, always appears "Console Locked - Unlock Console to Use This Option".

I'm totally confused? Why this happened... I've never locked the console though.

    Anybody can help, please?

After a simple search I found this...

From the USB Loader GX source site.

    NOTES

    * titles.txt is placed under SD:/config/ , is optional and you can set a custom path at settings

    * Some of the functions work only when the usbloadergx is unlocked. Some of them are install, delete, rename, change paths and password, download covers etc

    * To make it to stay always unlock (even after a shutdown/restart) delete the password at the settings and leave it blank

    * Default password WAS ab121b / r468 CHANGED the default setting and now there is NO PASSWORD SET and the loader starts in godmode unless you have set a password

    * Downloading covers works by clicking on the cover, but you have to unlock the loader first from the settings. The default save paths are these:

If you have set your own password but have forgotten it (or locked the console by accident )then there is a way to retrieve it.
Remove the SD card from the wii and put it in your computer

Open the card to read all the files

You will see a folder called 'CONFIG' open this

next you will see a file called 'GXGlobal'

Open this with notepad and you will be able to read the password you set.

Put the SD card back in the wii, restart usb loader gx,go into settings(bottom right hand corner)click on parental control, click on console locked, enter the password you found on the sd card and you will get password correct message now just click 'BACK'

you could if you wanted go into the next sub menu and restore default wich will remove the password that has been set,but i am not sure if this also resets the 002 fixes you may have applied
hope this helps anyone with a console locked problem
