Cannot install Game to FAT32 drive USBLoaderGX

    Hi,

The only thing not working for me is installing a game to a FAT32 drive, from USBLoaderGX. I can load a game (play) from the same drive/FAT32, USBLoader GX sees the games on the FAT partition, but when I click on install game, it crashes within 5-10 seconds. I noticed that the drive's activity light turns off and a second later back on. I'm trying to install from an original disc.

If I format the drive as WBFS, then I can install games and play.

Any ideas why I can install to FAT32? Is it a missing feature of USBLoaderGX, or is it my setup?

    - USB Loader GX r877 (loaded by Preloader v0.30r4)
    - SysMenu: 4.2U

    Thanks

You need to format your drive to wbfs and use WbfsManager to install your games as stated in the guides....

USBLoader GX r877 supports FAT32. Does it also support installing games to the FAT32 partition?

If you don't know, please do not reply. I need a "for sure" answer. Someone that has tried it.

I know that WBFS works... And as I said, I can play games from FAT32, I just cannot install to FAT32. Is this normal with r877?

HDD is FAT32, primary, active, 200GB (also tried 40GB partition)

    thank you
