Can USB Loader GX load data from the USB drive instead of the SD?

I'd like to operate without an SD card. Can I save the settings, and covers to the hard drive instead of an SD card?

Every tutorial I see references an SD card, but technically it shouldn't be required as long as I'm using a channel instead of a forwarder right?

GX will want to save the configuration data somewhere. The best way to do this with USB is to have a small FAT32 partition and have the configuration files point to it.

Oh, you can't save in a WBFS partition?

Should i just store everything in a FAT partition or are there advantages to WBFS?

Games will need WBFS and everything else (config, videos, apps) will need FAT32 or NTFS. It's worth partitioning your drive before it gets too full.
