Tony Hawk Ride retail system Update an NeoGamma

Hi, I have tony hawk ride a retail version. I also have a soft mod wii with HBC and neogamma running CIOSr14. Neogamma will not allow the usb dongle to recognize the Tony hawk skateboard peripheral. My question is if Iload it throuhe the normal disc channel (as it is an original retail game) it tells me I have to do a "Wii system update". If I choose Yes will it mess up my HBC or Neogamma or anything?

    Thanks

Thanks for the reply! The other question i have is now that I have blocked future disc updates it still shows the wii update in the disc channel even if I load a backup. Is there anyway to make this request for the update go away. I'm scared one of the kids may accept it in error.

    Did the fix work?

Boxer 25 - I am having the same issue. My son got the Tony Hawk game for Christmas and we can not get the board to connect. Did that work?

Hi yes it did work. Loading the setting to disable the disc update diables that and allows you to run the retail game from the normal disc channel wherby the usb receiver will recognize the skate board. An alternate method I found if you don't have priiloader is to boot to neogamma from the HBC in the settings for rebooter disable the updates and then select the rebbot option from the neogamma menu. Once the wii reboots you can also load the game from the disc channel without having to accept the update. With the neogamma reboot however you will have to do it everytime you want to load the game. The setting as suggested by the twiggy2cents (thanks again!) with priiloader takes care of it once and for all.

HI if you have 3.1-4.1 system wii follow this tut:

    http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html

If you have 4.2 follow this one:
    http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...tem-menus.html

If you don't know which version you have from the Wii Menu, click on "Wii Options" displayed in the bottom left corner. Then click "Wii Settings" (it has a wrench icon). The version will then be displayed in the top right corner of the screen. Once you have that just link to the right tutorial for the version install the home brew channel (HBC) and then priloader. Make sure you read it through a couple of times first and follow each step exactly though. I just did mine, which was a 3.4 system so i will help you if I can. Good Luck!

Ohhh YES. The Tony Hawk ride game is working with homebrew channel and softchip app. You must use IOS 222 to load game. Then the skateboard will be connected and found by the game.
