Wii Sports loaded fine and now it doesnt.

Hey everyone, new to this modding thing. But i think im pretty well informed now. So i downloaded Wii Sports in a .rar torrent file loaded once off coverfloader and the next morning it didn't. had it set on console default with the error_002 fix on as well. now when i load it i get the green screen, if i do the game default it loads just in black and white and the picture keeps moving up and down so i mess around with different settings and it seems like these are my only two options green screen or black and white moving picture. checked to see if there were any ios i needed to play this the only one i found was the wii sports resort so i installed it using wad manager and it still doesnt work. any suggestions? this is the only game i have an issue with. any help would be greatly appreciated.

try setting coverfloader to force game to your region if it has that option.

try downloading a different ISO. The one you are trying to use sounds like its outside of your region. Try to grab one that is for your region. This game has many issues trying to run on softmod and would want you to make one less issue.

Yea that was my next best bet. I was going to borrow it off a buddy and rip it using the coverfloader. Does ripping games to the HDD have any negative consequences? I ripped SSBB and got the infamous error after the kirby mario fight so i downloaded the IOS for it as a wad and it bricked my wii =|

The bigest issues from SSBB is centered around it being DL disk. Original games on DL have had issues since day one. Even "N" has admitted that wii consoles do not like SSBB on their original disk never mind backups. I have ripped a few games to my HD have not had any issues.

In short I would say rip away.

if you are using USB loader of some kind there will be a 002 error fix in the settings. Neogamma r6 also has a 002 error fix in the settings all revisions since then do have one to turn off and on. r6 was probably the most configurable of all the neo loaders.
