I just did a 4.2 mod tonight and everything worked perfect. USB Loader GX channel from system menu worked fine. I still can't get my 4.1 to work as a channel though. Wondering if I should just update to 4.2 and start over.

Ive attached a WAD, install this wad using whatever WAD manager you have.

This is for usb loader GX.

Make sure the folder in your SDcard in the Apps section is labeled usbloader_gx

good luck. this should work for you.

I did try WAD manager to install forwarders and channels. Nothing worked. I finally got fed up and updated to 4.2 and re-modded and everything works perfectly. WiiFlow and USB Loader GX forwarders are both working from the system menu. I finally got it working. Im not really sure of the reason not to update, but everything is working how it should now.

I didn't. I just did the update through the system update on the Wii. After it updated to 4.2 i used the 4.2 soft mod tutorial just like I had modded my friends Wii. Everything works perfectly now. I haven't had any type of problems. USB Loader GX and WiiFlow both work fine as Channels now.
