If you had installed USB loader as a channel (which it sounds like because you used a wad (though it could still be a forwarder)

What you should do is if you have put the new usbloader boot.dol in place then go to homebrew channel and load USB loaderGx through Homebrewchannel, this will ensure you are loading the latest from the sd card and not the channel installed on the wii memory.

Also what was the revision version of USB Loader you downloaded?
I had 815 from start set as a channel(uninstalled it using the same wad in wad manager)
then got 841(not a channel, renaming r841.dol to boot.dol in usb loader in apps)

as for the call of duty prob I fixed it, installed USB loader R838(loaded it through usb loader and its working fine)

so whats left to try for super smash bros?
    Thanks

With SSBB have you changed any of the gameload settings in usb loader?

Make sure you have autopatch on and vidpatch etc

I mostly do this by default because it can't hurt. So play with some of these settings.

I am thinking there is something wrong with newer revision of usb loader gx because my son said that they could not play because program was freezing. I have put my old one but do not have a chance to try it since the kids have control the tv right now
