Well, it's not listed on the USB Device compatibility list, so no way to tell until you try it. I'm running a WD 320GB My Passport drive and it works fine after disabling the virtual CD partition that it comes with, so I would guess a 60GB from WD would work as well.

All I know is stay away from Toshiba.

AFAIK all the passports work, even the newer ones with the crapware on them!

Just got a 500 gig My Book yesterday and it works perfectly in USB Loader GX. AFAIK, as long as you stay away from Seagate, you should be fine. All of them that I've tried didn't work with USB loaders.

Did you have any trouble with the drive not being detected after turning off the Wii? I have to hard power down my MyBook before it'll work again.

I've never had any detection problems. But why would you have to hard power down? The MyBook is supposed to power on and off with the Wii. Maybe you have Connect24 on? I don't, and mine works fine.
