Exclamation Suddenly uLoader can't read my Hd/mem stick/others...

    Hi!

For 2 days ago, I cannot use uLoader to run games. I have a Wii 4.1U with uLoader 3.0 (i tried with 3.1). The hf has 320gb, tried with another 250gb and a sony pen drive 8Gb.

The hd is recognized very well on pc and wbfs manager. tried to format, to copy only one game, tried with other usb port (more inside than the border), but uLoader or USB loader GX says that is no USB plugged in. uLoader says:

Error: USB Device disconnected (try unplug/plug)

When i unplug and plug, a message show and too fast(really fast, minus than 1 second, so i cant read any letter or word) change back to Error: Usb device....

I used 2 games GH:Van Hallen and GH:Smash Hits, those two 2 times, rebooting once, so, I think it is not game related.

What you could recommend? Thanks for all the help!

    [EDIT]

I can read the hd if I format fat32 and copy wad for instance on it, and then load it on Homebrew channel, so it is not a dammaged USB port...

i have recently upgraded to rev 13b for some of the new games to work. After upgrading I had to use the other usb port on the back of the wii. I don't know if that helps. but it is worth a try. my console 3.2U

It is possible that the hd is spining down and going to sleep before the loader starts. There should be a utilty app for your drive that will allow you to adjust these settings. Also be sure to use the usb port on the left(bottom) of the wii. R14 should be fine for you. Also try unplugging the hd and plunging it back in while the loader is searching for the drive, this should wake the drive up. You may also want to use the loader on the wii to format the partition.

also uloader is fairly stupid and does not always detect the drice. the thing is you need t make sure it is on before you connect it. just use some other loaders that rock

IF you downgrade from 4.1 to 3.2, better be careful, there is a chance for you to brick if you accept a disc update to 3.4 by mistake. Make sure you do not accept any disc updates.

    Hi. Thanks for all replies!!!

So, I installed rev13 and get it work only at the usb far from border and only when unplug and plug again when inside the WiiFlow 1.1. Can't use on uLoader or USB Loader GX.

I think that the problem isnot related to the hdd because I have here 2 cases with different hd, different brand, different sizes, and also a pendrive 8Gb.

So, i tried to put rev14 again, and stoped working at all...so I dowgrade all and return to rev13 again, but I always have to unplug then plug again to wiiflow recognize.

The bad thing is that I installed ios 222/223 (play GH5 for instance) and wiiflow don't start (the 222 version one). Only starts the 249 version one.

I can't believe this....all was working, and suddenly stoped working and i'm in this bad situation and can't find a solution.....bad, bad, bad....

If it works after you plug it in, that means the hd is asleep before you unplug it and plug it back in. You need to change the settings from your pc using the manufactures utility software of your hd. Also usually it only works on the usb closest to the rim. What system menu are you on?

What about the pen drive? That does not spin down, can you format it from the loader?

You are not alone....I am having the same problem and nothing seems to fix it. I have seen this problem at several forums and nobody has any ideas on how to fix it.
