black screen when go back to wii menu (some games)

please sorry by my bad english
I have a problem with my wii. I downloaded all official nintendo updates since I bought my wii (2006) until 4.1u and then I started to install homebrew channel with bannerbomb, arround 4 moths ago.
I can use all hombrews, and backups games, I donīt have problems when I play wii backups with usb loaders or dvd with neogama or other launchers. My problem is when I want to go to wii menu. When I press the home button, press Wii Menu, and then press OK, the screen goes black and it doesn't go back to the Wii Menu. The screen just stays black and I have to press power for 5 sec. to reset the console. This only happens with some games (not all games). I have cios 249 rev 14 (by WANINKOKO) and cios 222, 223 y 203 3.0 v4(by HERMES) I downgrade to 3.2 and the problem continues, then I update (with waninkoko updater) to 4.1u again and problem continues, then I use pimp my wii and updated all ios and the problem continues.
I think that this problem came when the update of nintendo that I downloaded before I install bannerbomb and homebrew channel. How can I fix this, help me please. I think itīs an corrupted ios, but which is it?

I was experiencing a similar, not quite the same as yours, black screen issue. A quick, and fully reversible, suggestion I have that fixed my black screens is to try different revisions of cIOS38. Rev 12 is working perfect for me and I haven't needed to hard reset once since I installed it.

Maybe someone more informed can correct me if I'm wrong, from what I've read on here I believe revisions all the way back to rev10 are still stable with a majority of titles.

Good luck, hope this helps.

I honestly couldnt tell you why that is happening either. Actually I have had that happen to me once but didnt think anything of it. You could always update your cios to cios38 rev14. Im using that with neogamma r5. I will say this though... you dont have a corrupted ios. But if you can jot down all the games that have that issue, there is a thread on here that lists what ios' games use. If all those listed games use the same ios, then maybe your right about a bad ios. I just dont see how that would work since a bad ios would brick your console, basically the same thing as removing that ios. To get that thread, search for "ios games use" and that should bring it up.
