GH5 And Gamma Have Seached For 2 hours. Now I'm confused.

I'll try to keep this short if possible. I have had no problems with my wii 4.1u. All my games Call of Duty 3, NHL 2k10, and Tiger woods 10 all ok. They run through my game channel and neogamma r7. Now I recently softmodded my buddy's and noticed he had upgraded to 4.2u and followed those instructions. So I tested Tiger Woods 10 on his and worked great. I gave it back to him and he downloaded GH5 and GH Metallica and told me they don't work. So I took them and tried them both. Well GH metallica works fine but GH 5 goes to black screen. So with all this searching here I always end up back at the guide where step 1 was the wad and then some Mutlios installer. Well i installed the cios56-64-v5146.wad. Can't get the multicios installer can't find it. The links from the instruction page doesn't have it or any other files he refers to. The other thing is I'm supposed to enable some error 002 in neogamma r7 and I can't access the options because everytime I launch the program through channels or homebrew it goes directly to load game disc or no disc. I'm not a newbie but I'm not so far advanced either. Some of the lingo i keep reading and i'm out to lunch. Again we are doing this all through dvd-r and not usb so I don't need instructions for that. Thanks.

sounds like a missing IOS is preventing GH5 from working

from memory you need to install

IOS 37 and 56

dont worry about the 002 error as thats taken care of in NeoGamma 7

doesn't neogamma use ios249? I've never gotten gh5 to work with ios249.

either cioscorp and run it straight. or softchip lets you pick your ios? if so, you can do hermes v4 cios38+37 as ios222 or 223. or maybe if you just cios'ed 56, you could use that perhaps.

or if you have a usb drive, you can go that route and use usb loader gx. or if you just have a spare usb key, get usbloader gx to format it wbfs just as a token drive. then use gx's disc loading feature.

ziddy. I think your alittle confused. In order to get backup games to work, you need to install cios249. That installs as ios249. Then any other cios you install, you install as ios249. So youll want the newest cios which is cios38 rev14. GH5 uses ios56, so youll want to install that. After thats installed, the game will work fine.

nah, ios56 becomes irrelevant for the most part since only one ios can be loaded at a time. i've personally never gotten gh5 to run with waninkoko's cios38rev14. but again, i've only tried usb loading.

hermes cios is as good as waninkoko's now. so like i said, if you install hermes cios38+37, and use softchip or some other loader to use it, you'll be fine.

I got GH5 Backup disc to work with the latest USB Loader GX and IOS222 (ios38 merged with IOS37) from Hermes cIOS installer v4.
