2 Partitions on HDD

Hi, I have a question:
I saw that it is possible, to have your VC/Wiivare on USB. So I formated my HDD in 2 Partitions. How can I make the Wii to use my 2nd partition on my HDD to install the WADs on?
Is that possible? Or how do you guys manage the 20GBs of VC and Wiiware games?

You need to be on system 4.0 or 4.1. Install the wad as a channel, then use data managment to move it to SD/USB. Your USB will need to have two partitions.

Forgot to say if not on 4.0 or 4.1 you can run in virtual nand using Triforce.

Hi, I have System 4.2
There i dont have any option to move anything to USB, only SD...
When I try to use Triforce on my USB HDD (Which has 3 Partitions: WBFS, FAT32, NTFS) there is an error. When I try to do it with a USB Stick it works. Is there any workaround?

The nand has to be on the HDD. Some people have trouble with wad manager 1.5, try wad2nand.

yes, i copied the nand from my usb stick to my HDD. But it doesn't work. I can't load it in triforce. If I select the USB as source there it says that it didn't find the files and couldn't find the titles. But if I do the same with my USB stick it somehow works.

All partitions on your HDD must be primary!!! Without extended partitions!
And FAT32 partition where you keep sistem files (from SD) for your Wii must be set as active.

I use EASEUS Partition Master which allows you to do just that.

thy!
I just downloaded it. But I decided maybe to stick to my USB stick, as you always have to set one partition active and for that you always have to plug it into the computer, start the program, and so on...
Very sad that the Wii can't recognize multiple partitions :-(
maybe some new feature on the wishlist for the programers :-)
