No, use NeoGamma to load burned game discs, USB Laoder GX does not support disc loading.

No, USB Loaders cannot. Instead Download NeoGamma R7.

You can install those downloaded ISOs onto a hard drive or a usb memory stick and play that way, no disc burning needed.

YES, you can use usb loader gx. It's far better than neogamma or any other dvd loader out there currently since it supports choosing which IOS you want to boot the game, as well as other settings.

The only problem is that if you don't have a usb drive plugged in, it'll countdown waiting for one to show up, and then quit back to wii menu/hbc.

I don't know if usbloadergx supports usb thumb drives, but if so, you could just use an old spare one you have kicking around. Plug it in. Let it get formatted to wbfs. And keep it in your usb port.

Then, you'll be in usb loader and have the disc icon on the upper right to boot.

usb loader gx with hermes v4 cios (38+37) and anti002 will work great for gh5/rb2 etc.

my best regards
Excuse my ignorance, I just downloaded USB Loader GX r808, and it seems that DVD loading is supported. I loaded Wii, GameCube, and GameCube MultiISO discs. As long as you installed the cMIOS you can also play GC games, too. But, why doesn't USB Loader GX support my HDD, Seagate FreeAgent Desk?, I give USB Loader GX a FAIL for not supporting my HDD.

If you insert a DVD backup before launching GX, the tool bar along the top has an icon of a disc, this will bring you to the disc loading screen.

If you insert a DVD backup while GX is running, the disc will automatically be detected and a disc loading screen will pop up.

USB Loader GX has now got to be the best Backup disc launcher, but I do not burn discs, and it will only half-ass support my HDD.

is your drive fully spinning up?

the wii's usb ports don't seem to put out as much power as a computer (below spec?) and I've seen some 2.5" usb powered drives not able to fully spin up

This has been a problem with my HDD since the beginning, I use Configurable USB Loader, and do not have this issue, my HDD works fine with CFG.

This is what I have to do to get my HDD to work with USB Loader GX -

1. If running GX from HBC
-Turn on Wii, start HBC (HDD off)
-Turn on HDD, select Usb Loader GX
-USB Loader GX boots up and HDD works fine

2. If running GX from channel
-Turn on Wii, press A and start the menu (HDD off)
-Turn on HDD, select USB Loader GX channel from menu
-USB Loader GX boots up and HDD works fine.

The problem is when I turn on my Wii and my HDD powers up automatically (HDD turns on when Wii is powered up), the HDD will not be recognized by USB Loader GX, but Configurable USB Loader will recognize it. I think that upon start up, Configurable USB Loader must reboot my HDD, because GX will count down from 30 and will not recognize, USB Loader Configurable will start countdown and stops after 1 number and boots the HDD. And, when I do get HDD working with GX, if I press the HOME button then I have to repeat the booting process, all the other USB Loaders work fine with my HDD.

It's not my Wii, because I use a USB memory stick with no issues.

USB Loader GX = Fail, no Seagate FreeAgent Desk support.
USB Loader CFG = no issues what so ever.
WiiFlow = no issues what so ever.
uLoader = no issues.
CoverFlow = no issues.

EDIT - my HDD has an external power source. You must me thinking of the FreeAgent Go.

I don't use USB Loader GX, GX will not read my HDD unless I use the process I listed above. All the rest of the USB loaders work fine with my HDD, no 30 second spin up required, USB LOADER GX is the only loader that does not fully support my HDD, nothing can be done about it. After 808 revisions - NO SUPPoRT.
