black and white

hi, using softmod (neo gamma 7, all the right wads etc)
but for some strange reason alot of the games are playing in black and white - is there any reason for this (set preloader to region free)
Am I doing anything wrong?

try forcing your regions video mode

try all the force pal options, 480 and 576 all of them
