Playing backups from ext HD??

Hi guys,

Just been having a good read, and have seen the ability to play backups from softmodded wii's, using external HD's.

Just wondered if it was possible to do this in my case? I have a Wii that has a "wasabi DX" installed, and would love to be able to play game iso's directly from an attached drive, meaning no chance of the kids trashing the discs again!!

simply follow the 3.1-4.1 softmod guide, and then install a USB loader. You should also check the compatible drives list.

Your modchip alone will not help you play from USB, which is why you need the softmod guide.
