DVD read error,
1. you got a bad burn - or a good burn on a bum disc (did you verify the burn?)
2. you got a bad ISO - redump the retail GC disc or redownload or redownload from different source.
The two version of the GC loader I would try are - GC backup Launcher 0.2 or GC backup Launcher Xi, and I use thepurplecube for all my GC ISO needs.

tried other games and still no success. tryed all the other launchers even neo gamma with no success. installed rev_14 like others suggested and still get dvd read error.
I am having an issue with the gc backup laucher 0.2 now. Before I state my problem I just want to say I had this working BEFORE installing WANINKOKO'S FIRMWARE UPDATER 4.2. This is what happens. I put in my multi-iso disc to load a game the disc reads,Green screen loads and then my wii resets! My question is why is the backup launcher not working? Any suggestions in how to get it working again? Thanks.
hello im having the same problem but i did all these steps and i still get the same green screenvright before it restarts
i also reinstalled the cmios and ... nothing

Did you install Waninkoko's or Wiigators, I had problems installing WiiGators, waninkoko's worked better for me. I also did the wad install, not the network install. Try reinstalling the cMIOS from a few posts up. You can also put [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register] on the root of your SD card and do a wad install of the cMIOS rev3.
