    usb loader gx

I followed the guide at the gx website and have got the files on an external drive. However, the usb loader gx is not showing up in the HBC to launch.

Does anyone know what I may be doing wrong?

Your sd card should look like this:

    Root of SD Card/Apps/USB Loader/boot.dol

Make sure you have a folder with the boot.dol file in the apps folder

USB loader GX needs to be on your SD Card in the apps folder to be seen by HBC.

I am told that if I remove the sd card the hdd will be read instead, or the news HBC 1.0.5 you can press 1 to alter between the sd card and hdd.. .

Do you have it partitioned to FAT32 and one with WBSF?

So you want to load HB Channel from your hard drive?

Or you want to load backups from a hard drive using USB Loader GX?

I am not sure what you are trying to do from your post.

Don't forget you have to have same folder structure on usb that you have on sd card.

There are some great guides. You should start there.

I got it working. I installed the newest version of HBC which allows you to switch between the SD and USB by pressing 1. Thanks for the help though.. .
