Issues with GC Backup Launcher

I have been trying to resolve this. First time working with GC Launcher 0.2, and I keep getting stuck at the green screen and then my Wii restarts.

I am on 4.1U and have updated almost every MIOS and cIOS I can think of without messing anything up.

The interesting thing is the Disc Launcher channel recognizes the game as a GC disc, just not which game.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Could you provide some info about the game your trying to load and if possibe what type of DVD-R your using and what programs you used to create the disc.

I have attempted using Crazy Taxi and Beyond Good and Evil.

The program I used to burn the iso images was IMGBurn.

Are they known to have issues and are they on the same disc?

Seperate discs. Both supposedly work according to a list I read.

Is that the one on GBATemp?

A hard modded wii should play GameCube games without any further modification. The rest of the info in this post is for softmodded Wii's.

Maybe this will help, I will provide for you all the stuff I use and installed, all this worked for me.
You should have cIOS38 rev14 installed (for the backup launcher) and you will need a gamecube controller to play gamecube backups and to navigate the Gamecube backup launcher.

1. cMIOS installer rev3 by Waninkoko, http://filetrip.net/file.php?id=8934.
2. RVL-mios-v8.wad

Put the RVL-mios-v8.wad on the root of your SD card, (do not put the RVL-mios-v8.wad in the wad folder, it doesn't belong there). Then run the mios installer, select wad install, not network install. And if you still cannot get your backups working, try using GC backup launcher Xi, get it HERE, that launcher is from wadder.net. Still cant get backups working, perhaps bad burn or bad ISO, there's another site called thepurplecube for GC backups. There is a newer, GC backup launcher 0.2, but I forget where I got the wad version from.

Gamecube backup launcher Xi 0.1, http://filetrip.net/file.php?id=4470, it's not a channel so you need to run from HBC.

GameCube game saves will not save to SD card, you will need a GC memory card.

thx again to stomp 442 i have got my 1 and only Gamecube game(burnout) working first go on 4.2- neogamma backup launcherR7 by following his instructions of (cMIOS installer rev3 by Waninkoko)1st -wad-install) and (RVL-mios-v8.wad)from root. Keep up the good work m8 you made my day.
ps. cMIOS installer wouldnt show on my HBC untill i changed the .dol file to boot.dol
