Im looking for a good deal on either 320 or 500gb drive now. The other issue i am having is if i take my sd card out it will not find the hdd. it has the please wait on screen after i load wiiflow

another thing. for the people that are using wiiflow is there a way to exit from a game and go back to wiiflow instead of going to the main wii menu?

Yea wii connect 24 keeps your wii in a hibernate mode and the usb ports still receive power... i noticed that with my wii so i turned off the wii connect 24 it works like a charm, so if you dont need the wii connect 24 (which no one really needs it.. i only used to use it to power my wiimote charger, but now i just got a wall usb adapter lol)

looking for advice and have got some good advice here so far
was using wiii with neogamma but only on backup dvd-r,s
I am about to get a hdd and load from there so this post is very handy but have some questions

i know neogamma loads from hdd but i like the look of wiiflo and have a 5 year old and neogamma is not so child friendly.
anyway can i load wiiflo as well as leaving neogamma installed just to cover me for games that dont work on one but might on the other.

also the games i have are a mix of pal and ntsc and all just seem to load will they do the same in wiiflo

hawkwind, I just had my nephew/yound cousin with autism playing my Wii and was in Homebrew running some files....to make a long story short I had to recover with priiloader and do a sys update to 4.2 and re-mod.

Now to prevent these mishaps I use priiloader to boot directly to WiiFlow, which has Emus has within...If I want to go to homebrew or SysMenu I do it from priiloader by holding reset...Now my Wii is 'Child Proof' (best it can be)

Just trying to give another good reason to push WiiFlow.

    new here

Im new here but want to get my feet wet and more involved in the wii homebrew scene. So far i have used uloader successfully and it did what it was supposed to, DX didnt work for me only a black screen. Im using wiiflow now and i love it. Backs up at the same rate as uloader if not faster, im sure it depends on the game. I will try others but so far i think this is the best for me, it works well and its very graphically pleasing.

    Hi all,
I don't have a lot of experience with every loader but I have tried USB Loader GX r88 and Wiflow 1.1 full. I started really liking Wiflow and was playing with the different themes when it just completely lost the ability to find the games in my USB HDD. I looked in WBFS Manager 3.0 and all were intact.
After I figured out to install the USB Loader GX r883 - ULNR.wad file from the HDD instead of an SD card, I am pleased as punch with USB Loader GX.
It is working like a charm on 2 consoles with full implementation to the third to come this evening.

I have tried various usb loaders over the last year

neogamma- very basic but worked well in loading games

usb loader gx - really liked it have say it looks good, although could not get guitar hero 5 to load yet it would load nsmb and other new games??

coverfloader - used this for ages until games required hermes 222/223 compatibility

uLoader - I have found this to be the best overall every games I have loads 200+ and works as it should, downside is its not as good looking as usbloader gx

configurable usb loader - tried this some games worked alot didn't

wiiflow - still yet to try this one out

I can`t fault CFG loader. It`s easy to use and customise, and the fact the latest version uses FAT32 format means its easy to manage files, keeping covers and settings and games all on the HDD , no partitioning, no SD cards. Love it. Simples
Thanks to the creators of the software, and the senior members of this site for bringing a bit of light to my miserable existence.

USB Loader GX can't play MH3 properly. I vote for Configurable USB Loader. Clean, rich GUI. Best compatibility!
